CLOSE ENCOUNTERS WITH GRAY WHALES IN BAJA CALIFORNIA SUR
February 28 – March 4, 2026
Cost: $1200 + accommodation.
Inclusions:
- 5 days, 4 nights in La Paz, Baja California Sur
- Pick up from San Jose del Cabo or La Paz (direct flights now available from Los Angeles to La Paz!)
- Day trip to Puerto Chale. Includes: gray whale watching tour with a marine biologist guide, a professional photo package, drinks, snacks and a customized regional breakfast included
- Half-day visiting Tecolote and Balandra beaches. Balandra has been named among the top 10 most beautiful in the world. A “secret” locals’ beach can be included for those who don’t mind a steep but short climb.
- Snorkeling with sea lions. Includes: picnic on a deserted beach, the chance to swim with whale sharks, GoPro videos and photos, snorkeling gear and wetsuit.
- Accommodation can be included, arranged, or booked independently
- Cost: $1200 + accommodation (if necessary), typically ranging from $105 – $150 per night depending on requirements. Please reach out if you’re interested in a very budget-friendly, private space at my home in La Paz (this will only be available for one solo traveler or a couple).
- Deposit of $200 to hold your spot. The remaining balance of $1000 is due within 30 days of the trip start date. It is possible to divide this into monthly payments with the balance paid in full by January 15, 2026.
